Rainy weekend, high waves buffet north, south coasts

Santo Domingo.- The Meteorology Office forecasts a rainy weekend from the cloud mass dragged from the North-Northeast, mostly over the central region and border areas.

It said the cloud cover will increase in the afternoon, with scattered showers for the Atlantic coast, Northwest and Central Mountains.

Meteorology said the rest of the territory can expect partly cloudy skies with scattered showers, and temperatures will range from a high of 30 degrees Celsius, to a low of 22 degrees.

It adds that the higher than normal waves will continue for the northern and Caribbean coasts, where Meteorology cautions small craft to remain near shore.
