Ending weeks of twists, Police Lt. Col. Is charged with hired killings

Santo Domingo.- Ending weeks of twists, turns and questions about the National Drugs Control Agency’s role in the case of discharged Police Lt. Col. Johan Liriano, the San Cristobal Office of Prosecutor apprehended him when he went to the courthouse Monday, charged with forming part of a network of drug traffickers and hired killers.

Liriano went to the Office of the Prosecutor on a Justice Ministry subpoena, from where he was detained and escorted to the San Cristóbal Police Precinct.

The National Police links Liriano, discharged by Executive order last Thursday, to underworld executions allegedly at the service of drug traffickers.
