Incoming U.S. ambassador sworn in, ties the knot

Santo Domingo.- Incoming U.S. ambassador James "Wally" Brewster will not arrive in the country as a bachelor because once sworn in by vice president Joe Biden last Friday, tied the knot with his long-time partner Bob J. Satawake.

"The fact that Ambassador Brewster is the eighth openly gay U.S. Ambassador continues to be excellent news," The New Civil Rights Movement reported on its website.

The Website added that Brewster is a senior officer of the National Democrat Committee’s Council for the LGBT community.
