U.S. ambassador in Dominican Republic makes 1st public visit
Santo Domingo.- U.S. ambassador James "Wally" Brewster on Wednesday visited the Centro Franklin, the communications unit of Washington’s diplomatic facility, local media report.
During his first public visit after arriving in Santo Domingo, the diplomat spoke with the Centro’s team and took part in a roundtable discussion, the Embassy said on Twitter.
Brewster has yet to pay any official visit and the date when he’ll present his credentials to president Danilo Medina still hasn’t been announced.
