Judge reschedules hearing for Puerto Rican kingpin’s paramour

Santo Domingo.- A National District judge on Thursday postponed the hearing on charges that the Office of the Prosecutor violated the plea bargaining agreement, with convicted money launderer Sobeida Félix.

in a courtroom marked by heightened security, National District 8th Criminal Changer judge Teófilo Andujar ruled to postpone the hearing for next Tuesday.

Félix entered plea bargaining in exchange for cooperation in the case of her paramour, Puerto Rican kingpin Jose Figueroa Agosto, while the prosecutors agreed not to oppose her release on parole.
