Three locals wanted in the U.S. agree to extradition

Santo Domingo.- Three Dominicans wanted in the United States on Monday agreed to voluntary extradition to face the charges in that nation, during a hearing at the Supreme Court , headed by justice Miriam Germán.

Luis Estévez, José Luis Mejía and Adriano Cecilio Gonzalez separately agreed to be extradited to face the charges, after they notify their lawyers in the United States.

The court set a separate hearing for Estevez on December 16, and December 26 for Mejía and Gonzalez.

Estevez is wanted on drug charges, while Mejía and Gonzalez are wanted in confection with the murder of Teodoric Dasilva in Eden, New Jersey, where authorities issued the extradition request on September 20, 2006.
