Mayor, former L.A. Dodger slugger linked to 2 brawls in just 48 hours

San Cristobal, Dom. Rep.- The National Police on said it’s agents actively pursue severalmen who unleashed a shootout early Monday morning in the parking lot of " DiscoMundy" Avenue owned by mayor and former L.A. Dodgers slugger Raúl Mondesí.

Police Col. José Francisco Solano said dozens of the residentspanicked while the disco’s customers were hearing music blaring from luxurycars.

It’s San Cristobal’s second shootout in the last 48 hours,the first staged Saturday when crowd hurled bottles and stones at Mondesí, whenhe headed a Christmas party in front of the city’s stadium.
