Ruling’s fallout could trump Haiti, Dominican leaders’ petro powwow

Santo Domingo.- The presidents of Haiti, Michel Martelly,and of Dominican Republic, Danilo Medina will both attend the gathering ofleaders of the ALBA-Petrocaribe Agreement in Caracas, Venezuela starting today and ends tomorrowTuesday, as fallout continues over a recent court ruling that affects thousandsof offspring of Haitians.

Martelly has already arrived in Caracas but didn’t speakto the press after landing in the Venezuelan capital, wheras Medina is slated todepart Monday afternoon.

Venezuela foreign minister Elías Jauá said the presidentsof Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega; Ecuador, Rafael Correa, and Bolivia, Evo Morales willall be arriving to attend the ALBA-Petrocaribe Summit during the week.
