Ruling party Central Committee winners to be announced Monday

Santo Domingo.- At 10am Monday Dominican Republic’s ruling party (PLD) will announce the first bulletin of the results from yesterday’s election to choose 138 members for its Central Committee.

The PLD’s 7th Congress National Commission, which began the vote count 9am Sunday, said the names of the first 40 winners will be shown on a screen located in the Olympic Center’s Volleyball Pavilion.

It said two other screens will show the name of the other candidates who will appear according to the number of votes obtained.
