Sunny skies, lower than normal temperatures

Santo Domingo.- Temperatures will continue downward in some of Dominican Republic’s mountainous regions, where expected as low as 8 degrees Celsius, the National Meteorology Office –Onamet- forecasts Friday.

Record low temperatures were reported Thursday night in areas of La Vega, San Juan de la Maguana, Santiago, La Romana, Puerto Plata and Constanza.

Onamet also forecasts few changes in the country’s weather conditions, with little rainfall and mostly sunny skies over nearly all provinces.
