Senators urge authorities to investigate “Taking Our Territory” campaign

Santo Domingo.– Some Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) senators considered that the State intelligence agencies should investigate in depth the "Taking Our Territory" (TNT) campaign promoted by Haitians living in the Dominican Republic.

The senators urged the authorities to determine who is behind the initiative, which is said to be headed by a pro-Haitian NGO, and reveal what it real purpose is.

PLD senator (San Cristobal) Tommy Galan said the TNT campaign is sending a confusing message and pointed out that it should be taken as a challenge to the country, the Constitution and the government.
