Two fatal victims in NYC blast might be Dominican

New York.– Two of those who died in the explosion and collapse of two buildings in New York City might be of Dominican origin, according to a spokesman of the Dominican Consulate.

The information has yet to be confirmed officially however, nor their identities.

The death toll climbed to seven after searches found another body in the rubble, two Mexican women among them.

New York Police said four women and three men died and 68 people sustained injuries in the tragedy caused by a gas leak in East Harlem, a historic Manhattan neighborhood with a Latino majority.
