Scattered showers Friday, Sunday, mostly sunny Saturday

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (ONAMET) forecasts scattered showers and thunderstorm over mostly mountainous areas and the central part of the country, from a weak trough over the national territory.

It also forecasts mostly sunny skies for the rest of the country.

ONAMET said an approaching front will significantly increase rainfall starting Saturday night, for the North, Northwest, Southwest, border area and Central Mountains. “Localized rains accompanied by thunderstorms will continue increasing on Sunday.”
