US Consulate to close for three days in June

Santo Domingo.– Consular services at the Embassy of theUnited States in Santo Domingo will be suspended for three days in June due to the embassy will be moving to its new facilities.

In a statement, the U.S. Embassy reportedthat operations will cease from Wednesday 11 to Friday, June 13. The Consulate office will resumeits services on 16 June, but on a limited schedule.

The new buildings arelocated on Colombia Av, in the upscale sector of Arroyo Hondo. After moving to its new headquarters, the consular sectionwill continue to operate in its regular hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:00am to 4:30 pm.
