Most famous inmate seeks probation, for the 4th time

San Cristóbal.- Dominican Republic’s most famous inmate on Monday for the fourth time asked the San Cristobal Probate Judge for her release from Najayo Prison on probation.

Sobeida Félix is slated to appear for a hearing on June 4, according to court documents. She requested her release to judge Willy de Jesús Mejía, alleging the need to see her children whose stay in the United States has expired.

The public prosecutor requested time to, judge of the execution of the penalty, for the purpose of studying the new documentation (instance) provided by the Attorney Félix has served more than three years of a five year prison sentence, on a conviction of money laundering.
