U.S. to repatriate children of Puerto Rican kingpin’s paramour
Santo Domingo.- In the coming days U.S. authorities will repatriate the two children of money laundering convict Sobeida Félix, paramour of Puerto Rican kingpin José Figueroa Agosto, after their U.S. visa was cancelled.
Felix had the children, 10 and 15 years of age, with also money laundering convict Eddy Brito. The minors are expected to return to the country no later than June 29 , for which their mother requested release on parole from a San Cristobal judge.
The children had been taken out of the country with their parents’ consent aboard a flight to Newark, New Jersey, on plea bargaining with Félix and on provisions of international cooperation.
