Vargas says President Medina has not solved people’s basic problems

Santo Domingo.- Opposition PRD party president Miguel Vargas affirmed today that even though President Danilo Medina has introduced certain changes during his two years in office, he has not yet provided a solution for people’s basic problems as expected from the government.

Vargas said the government has not had the political will to do what had never been done and correct what is wrong regarding the high debt and high fiscal deficit, public insecurity and the electricity crisis.
