Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (ONAMET) forecasts downpours and thunderstorms from a frontal system located over Dominican Republic’s north region, moving east- southeast.
It said the rains will be more frequent over the Eastern and northern provinces, and issued alerts on higher-than-normal waves of over 8 feet along the Atlantic coast, for which small craft should remain in port.
ONAMET also forecasts seasonably mild temperatures, especially the mountains due to the northeast wind.
