Medina cuts ribbons on for 70 police stations

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina on Wednesday simultaneously cut the ribbons on 70 National Police stations in as many communities across the country, to bolster public safety.

The Head of State, accompanied by police and government officials headed the inaugurals from the new National Police precinct on Hermanas Mirabal Av., Villa Mella.

National Police chief Manuel Castro said the functional and modern facilities strengthen public safety, to deal with common criminals and crimes.

He lauded the process to reform and modernize the National Police and the installation of National 911 Emergency Response System, adding that law enforcement is ready for its expansion by the end of Dec.
