Mostly sunny skies, mild temps the rest of the year

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts mostly sunny skies across the country, from a high pressure system over the North Atlantic Ocean, and with low probability of rainfall.

It said however that the prevailing east wind could bring widely scattered showers over Samaná, Monte Plata, Hato Mayor, El Seibo and Puerto Plata provinces.

It forecasts mostly sunny skies nationwide on Thursday with seasonably mild temperatures in the evenings and early morning hours, with temperature from a low of 20ºC to a high of 30ºC.
