Education Ministry: classes resume on Wednesday, January 7

Santo Domingo.– The Education Ministry on Friday remindedstudents, parents and teachers that classes will resume Wednesday, January 7,nationwide.

Education Minister Carlos Amarante Baret said that after theChristmas and New Year festivities students and teachers must enthusiastically be back to school tofurther progress in the 2014-2015 school year.

Amarante said that the associations of parents andschool friends play an important role in this call, sending their children topublic and private schools across the country.

"Dominican family should be an essential part of theschool; Dominican family is a prime asset in this educational revolution that is carefully promoted by President Danilo Medina," theminister pointed out.
