Medina states Dominican’s solidarity with France

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina on Thursday expressed the Dominican Government’s and the people’s condolences and solidarity to France, in the wake of the terrorist attack against members of the magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris.

Medina stressed that he joins his counterpart Francois Hollande and all the French people at this difficult time which claimed the lives of 12 people.

"We strongly condemn this double act of violence that have attacked not only individuals but also freedom of the press," Medina tweeted. “The Dominican government and people join solidarity with France on the terrible act of terrorism against the magazine Charlie Hebdo.”
