Scattered showers, high surf along Caribbean coast

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts some scattered from a frontal system over northern and northeastern provinces, starting Friday tonight.

It said a frontal system will degenerate into a stationary trough over Dominican territory throughout the weekend, with frequent showers expected for all regions except the Caribbean coastline, and will likely spread to other areas starting next week.

Onamet forecasts seasonably mild temperatures and continues its craft advisory for the Caribbean coast, on higher than normal waves and strong winds.
