Mostly sunny weekend, mild temps, smooth surf

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts little chance of rain for the weekend, except for widely scattered showers over the Central Mountains and parts of the north and east.

It said no significant weather changes are expected during the next two days, with little moisture from the prevailing southeast wind.

Onamet says temperatures will seasonably mild, with a high of 30ºC and a low of 20ºC, adding that maritime conditions are optimal for water sports and the beaches.
