Govt. to provide JCE with resources for presidential elections

Santo Domingo.– The government announced Friday that it will provide the Central Electoral Board (JCE) with all necessary resources for the 2016 presidential elections.

Presidency Press director Roberto Rodriguez Marchena said all resources will be provided so that neither the preparation process nor the Dominican democracy can be put at risk.

"No one here will be able to jeopardize the electoral process," Rodriguez pointed out, and assured that neither the economic and social elites nor the Dominican government or parties will be allowed to behave recklessly.
