Surrender ‘by any means,’ Police ask suspect in death of 4

San Cristobal, Dominican Republic.- San Cristobal (south) precinct commander Juan Tomas Aquino on Mondayasked the suspect in gunfire killing of four people and injuring four others Sunday night to surrender "by any means" to avert a confrontation.

He said Yenly Aneurys Heredia (Morao) is accused of gunning down Jose A. Pineda and Luis Alberto Villar, both 34; Manuel Brea (Maniqui), and National Police officer Ricky Gabriel Aguero, 26.

Local media report that a friend of Heredia was killed a week ago, and who avenged it with the Sunday massacre.

Heredia was injured in that incident, police say.

The victims were attacked in the neighborhoods Moscu, Los Molina and Villa Progreso.
