Most Dominicans say Medina wants to run again

Santo Domingo.- Most Dominican voters (57.7%) believe that Danilo Medina wants to run for the Presidency again in the 2016 elections, according to the Gallup-Hoy survey.

The poll found that 29% of the voters think the president isn’t interested in staying in office.

The survey also found that 58% of those who support the ruling party (PLD) believe the head of state wants to run again; a figure which is 81% for the minority (Al-Pais) party; 62% of the PRM party; 59% of the PRD and 48% of the PRSC.
