Mostly sunny, mild temps through Saturday

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts that the low chance of rains will continue across the country during the next 48 hours.

It said however that the prevailing east-northeast wind could bring widely scattered showers in the afternoon, especially over northern and central provinces.

Onamet issued advisories on higher than normal waves along all coasts, for which small craft should operate near shore.

It said the seasonably mild temperatures will range from a high of 31ºC, to a low of 19ºC.
