Mostly sunny skies, warm temps nationwide

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts low chance of rain nationwide, from a stationary high pressure system.

It said however that widely scattered showers could occur Thursday afternoon, from clouds dragged by the east wind.

It said an approaching trough will increase precipitation over the weekend, especially the border area and central mountains.

Onamet said temperatures will range from a high of 31ºC and a low of 20ºC.
