Former president says reelection is bad from the opposition

New York.– Former President Hipolito Mejia said in New York that "reelection is bad when you are in the ranks of the opposition, but when you are in the Government, you want to be reelected."

Mejia said that the Dominican Republic should implement the American system of two periods and never again.

"That would allow us, who have already been there, devote to other activities, because sometimes there is pressure on you, and you want to continue riding on this horse, which is not funny," the former president and current PRM candidate pointed out.
