Widely scattered showers on Monday taper off Tuesday

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (ONAMET) forecasts showers for several parts of the country on Monday, from a trough over eastern Dominican Republic, and humidity dragged by the prevailing east wind.

It said widely scattered showers will be more frequent in northeastern and south central provinces

Onamet said the trough will move out of the area, although some showers will occur mostly late afternoon to early evening, over the Northeast, Southeast and Central Mountains.
