US Embassy trains Govt. agencies in incident crises management

Santo Domingo.- Emergency Operations Center (COE) officials, representatives from several first response agencies such as the National Police, traffic police AMET, Civil Defense, Firefighters, the Health and Armed Forces ministries participated in the Anti-Terrorism Assistance Program, of the US State Dept. (ATA).

The course included a comprehensive national approach to incident management crisis, strategies for effective management of terrorist incidents and other issues.

The instructors Tom Bauer, Amy Foster and Jim Conway headed the training with the participation of COE director Juan Manuel Mendez and US Embassy deputy Security and Police Affairs officer, Isaiah Roland II.
