Scattered showers, high temps continue through Saturday

Santo Domingo.- Scattered showers will continue across the country as a tropical wave approaches from the south of the country mostly in the afternoon early evening hours.

The National Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts moderate to heavy downpours and thunderstorms for most provinces on Saturday, due to an upper level trough.

It said the scattered showers will continue over the Northwest, Southeast, Northeast, Central Mountains and border area, while temperatures remain seasonably high.
