Officials dump confiscated seafood into Caribbean

Santo Domingo.- The Justice Ministry on Thursday dumped various types of seafood into the Caribbean Sea, which had been confiscated from export company that violated a permit issued in 2013.
In a press conference Environment prosecutor Francia Calderon said Xinda Trading Company, located in Boca Chica, faces prosecution on charges of violating Fisheries Environment Law 64-00.
Calderon, accompanied by other officials dumped the products during a ceremony held on one f the ocean terraces on the Malecon, next to Centro de los Heroes (La Feria).
