Haiti-Dominican deportation flap returns to the OAS

Santo Domingo.- The Organization of American States on Wednesdaywill hear allegations by Haiti Foreign minister Lener Renauld on DominicanRepublic’s program to legalize foreigners.

Haiti’s Foreign minister is expected to address Haitian-Dominicanrelations during a special session the OAS Permanent Council.

Renauld’s appearance comes just days after Dominicancounterpart Andres Navarro also addressed the controversial topic in detail atthe regional body.

Navarro rebuked the several international sectors whichhave labeled Dominican Republic as "racist" and defended the immigrationpolicy enacted by the administration of president Danilo Medina.
