Medina meets with 10 top Dominican students from New York

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina met at theNational Palace with 10 outstanding Dominican students in New York, and said heand the country feel pride, and urged them as forge onward and progress every day.

After the meeting Dominican consul general in NYC Eduardo Selman said it’s the 18thtime the Consulate recognizes meritorious students of Dominican parents.

"These children are public school students with gradesbetween 95 and 100, and are chosen by the teachers in each school. Their names aresubmitted to the Consulate and 359 students were chosen with that index thisyear, of which 10 were chosen to represent the group," Selman said.
