Scattered showers for most regions

Santo Domingo.- TheNational Weather Office (Onamet) watches three areas of unstable air over the country thatcould bring showers and thunderstorms to the country over the next few days.

It said one of the areas,located southeast of the Dominican Republic, will likely not become a tropicalstorm, while the moisture left by a tropical wave over the Windward Pass couldbring downpours with thunderstorms over all regions except the Northwest.

Onamet forecasts scatteredshowers with thunderstorms for Monday afternoon and early evening over thesoutheast, southwest, northeast, central mountain range and border zone.
