Sunny Friday, showers for the weekend

Santo Domingo.- TheNational Weather Office (Onamet) on Friday forecasts mostly sunny skies withlow chance of rain over the country.

It said however thata weak trough could bring showers and thunderstorms mostly for the central andeast regions.

“Significant precipitationis expected for the weekend from the trough over the country with some showersand isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon until early evening for theNortheast, Central Mountains and the border area,” Oname said.

Onamet saidtemperatures will range from a high of 33 degrees Celsius to a low of 21 degreesCelsius.
