Scattered showers Friday, mostly sunny Saturday

Santo Domingo.- TheNational Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts increasing cloudiness and showerswith thunderstorms Friday afternoon mostly over eastern provinces, from an upperlevel trough over the Mona Passage.

Onamet forecasts scatteredshowers on Saturday over the Central Mountains, border area and the northeast,increasing late afternoon and early evening hours.

It said the downpours willincrease Sunday afternoon and evening, from an approaching high level trough,adding that Friday temperatures will range from a high of 34°C to a low of 21°C.
