Tropical wave brings more showers, flash flood warnings

Santo Domingo.- TheNational Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts increasing cloudiness Tuesday afternoon,accompanied by some showers over the Northeast, Southeast, Central Mountainsand border zone from a tropical wave approaching from on the Caribbean Sea, movingwest.

It issued flash floodwarnings for San Pedro; La Altagracia, La Romana, Hato Mayor, El Seibo, GreaterSanto Domingo, National District and San Cristobal provinces.

Onamet said all regionsexcept the Northwest are under alerts for urban flooding, landslides, andoverflowing rivers and streams.
