President Medina to attend Paris Climate Change conference
Santo Domingo.– Dominican President Danilo Medina will travel Saturday afternoon to Paris to attend the UN climate Change Conference (COP21) which starts on Monday.
With his presence in the French capital, the Head of State ratifies the efforts made by his administration, which has placed the Dominican Republic among the countries with lower emissions of gases that lead to climate change.
Despite the aftermath of the Islamic State’s terror attacks in Paris, the heads of state and government of 150 countries, including China, Russia and the U.S., as well as UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will attend the COP21.
