President Medina’s New Year’s Tweet

Santo Domingo.-PresidentDanilo Medina issued a new year’s message to the nation via Twitter on Friday, declaring he wasconfident that 2016 would give him the opportunity to consolidate theachievements that had been attained and especially, to meet new targets.

In his Twitter account @DaniloMedina, the head ofstate encouraged the population to start dreaming even more from today, to workharder and build more faith in the country “that we wish for and deserve,together and in peace”.

“We welcome the New Year with greater enthusiasm and motivationto work for our people than ever. Happy 2016 to the great family of Dominicans,”declared Medina via the social network.
