Medina hands keys to 60 dirt bikes for police patrols

Santo Domingo.-President Danilo Medina on Thursday handed the keys for 60 dirt bikes to policechief Nelson Peguero, adding to the 500 already being used for patrols inGreater Santo Domingo,

Speaking at NationalPolice Headquarters, Peguero thanked Medina for his support, and urged regionalcommanders to safeguard the motorcycles with correct use and maintenance.

He said the motorcyclepatrols benefit the inhabitants of the numerous barrios in Greater SantoDomingo.
