Top Dominican prosecutor probes other judges ´sold rulings´

Santo Domingo.- Justiceminister Francisco Dominguez on Sunday warned that other judges are beinginvestigated in connection with the network that allegedly "sold rulings.”

He said he expects the dismissalof three other judges facing an upcoming disciplinary trial would also lead to theircriminal prosecution. "It will formally open criminal investigations andact accordingly."

Dominguez, speaking ina panel hosted by the Institutionalism and Justice Foundation (FINJUS), stressedthat more investigations into cases involving judges and prosecutors aren’t ruledout.
