PLD to expel leaders who get nominated under other political parties
Santo Domingo.- Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) general secretary Reinaldo Pared said Wednesday the organization is considering to expel the leaders of that party who have agreed to be nominated under other political entities.
"Unfortunately, some colleagues have chosen to stand as candidates for other parties. It is almost certain that those in such cases are going to be expelled from the PLD lines due to treason. That’s the feel of the party leadership," Pared pointed out.
Through his Twitter account @ReinaldoPared, the PLD leader warned the PLD allied parties not to allow such cases, under penalty of jeopardizing the pact of alliance.
