Biggest Dominican bank´s ´best year´ as assets top US$6.7B

Santo Domingo.- Thepresident of Dominican republic´s biggest bank on Thursday said 2015 was thegroup´s best year, "well above the goals," with assets totaling US$6.7billion.
Manuel A. Grullón, CEOof the Banco Popular Dominicano called 2105 "the best year in the bank´s history."
The banker, speaking ina meeting with media directors Thursday morning in its headquarters, added thatat year end Popular´s assets topped RD$303.7 billion (US$6.7 billion), a 9.8%jump over last year.
