Showers continue, small craft warnings along Atlantic coast

Santo Domingo.- The National WeatherOffice (Onamet) on Monday forecast continuing showers from a pre-frontal troughover the north coast, keeping the air over Dominican Republic unstable.

It said the moderate to lightshowers will continue caused by the system together with the prevailing east-northeastwind, mostly over the northern and central provinces.

Onamet said the trough will startto move away from the territory tomorrow Tuesday, but occasional light rainscan be expected in the afternoon.

It issued small craft advisoriesalong the Atlantic coast, on higher than normal wind and waves.
