Authorities suspend teacher and police officer who arranged school fight

Santo Domingo.- After a video showing a fight between two schoolboys in Boca Chica began surfacing on social media, authorities suspended a female teacher and school police sergeant forallegedly arranging the fight.

Acording to local reports, Police Sergeant Olquidea Medina Feliz and teacher Ana Elia Mateo Abad were suspended the day after the video was uploaded on social media, where it caught the attention of the school authorities and society.

The footage shows the children repeatedly hitting and kicking each other in the classroom and ends with one of them in a headlock on the floor. The video also displays both the Police Sergeant and the teacher doing nothing to stop the violence.
