National District residents show support for presidential candidate Medina

Santo Domingo.- President and presidential candidate of Dominican Republic’s ruling PLD party, Danilo Medina, on Sunday experienced the support of residents in districts two and three of the capital’s National District as he staged a march-caravan in those neighborhoods as part of his efforts to win the May 15 elections.

During the tour, Medina was happy and euphoric for the outpouring of support he received. His team announced that the president will respect the Easter Week break and refrain from political campaigning during the holiday.

Vice president and candidate for the same position, Margarita Cedeno, was also powerfully cheered by the crowd. She was accompanied by Reinaldo Pared, Roberto Salcedo and other members of the PLD Political Committee.
