Three Dominicans have died so far during Easter break

Santo Domingo.- The Emergency Operations Center (COE), in its latest bulletin, said at least three people died and 356 have been injured or affected nationwide so far during the Easter weekend.

According to the COE, traffic accidents were the leading cause of death, claiming the lives of two people, while one died from drowning.

COE director Juan Manuel Mendez said that 39 people were affected in 44 traffic accidents involving 32 motorbikes, 12 light vehicles and a pedestrian-vehicle collision; 32 accidents occurred on highways, 12 in urban areas.
